PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Omron M2 Intellisense is a fully automatic upper arm blood pressure monitor, designed to provide accurate blood pressure readings at home. Equipped with Intellisense™ technology, the device automatically adjusts the appropriate pressure in the cuff, preventing discomfort caused by over-inflation. Its one-button design makes it easy to use, and the large display allows for clear reading of results. In addition, it features irregular heartbeat detection, alerting the user to potential cardiac abnormalities. The device stores up to 30 measurements, making it easy to track and review previous readings.
PRODUCT COMPOSITION
The package includes: - Omron M2 blood pressure monitor. - Adjustable medium cuff (22–32 cm). - Instruction manual. - 4 AA batteries for operation.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. Place the cuff around your upper arm, making sure it is 1–2 cm above your elbow and the tube is aligned with the centre of your arm. 2. Sit in a comfortable position with your back straight and your feet flat on the floor. Place your arm on a table, making sure the cuff is at heart level. 3. Press the start button to begin the measurement. The cuff will automatically inflate and after a few seconds the results for systolic, diastolic and pulse pressure will be displayed on the screen. 4. For the most accurate readings, take the measurement at the same time each day and avoid eating, caffeine or smoking at least 30 minutes before the measurement.
WARNINGS
- This device is intended for use in adults. Do not use on newborns or patients who are unable to express their discomfort. - Do not apply the cuff over wounds or injured areas. - Avoid taking measurements on an arm with an intravenous line or arteriovenous fistula. - If you experience discomfort or pain during measurement, press the start button to stop inflation and remove the cuff. - Keep the device and its components out of the reach of children. - Consult your doctor if you get unusually high or low readings on a consistent basis.
