PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Melilax Adults is an innovative microenema that combines an effective evacuating action with a protective and softening action on the rectal mucosa. It is indicated for the treatment of constipation in adults and young people aged 12 and over, including cases of visceral hypersensitivity (such as irritable bowel syndrome), anal fissures and haemorrhoids. Its formula based on Promelaxin, a complex of honey and aloe and mallow polysaccharides, facilitates bowel evacuation and reduces the discomfort, irritation and inflammation associated with constipation. In addition, it is suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

PRODUCT COMPOSITION

- Promelaxin (73.2%): active complex of honey and polysaccharides of aloe and mallow. - Monosaccharides: ≥ 50%. - Polysaccharides (molecular weight > 20,000 daltons): ≥ 0.3%. - Other components: hydroglyceric solution, lemon juice, lavender essential oil.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

1. Open the microenema by removing the safety cannula cover: - Hold the white round ring on the bellows. - With the other hand, bend the cannula cover until it breaks and the ring separates completely. - Remove the cannula cover. 2. Apply a few drops of product to the perianal area. 3. Gently insert the cannula into the rectum. 4. Compress the microenema completely and, once application is complete, hold it down until the cannula is completely removed to prevent the product from being reabsorbed.

WARNINGS

- Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or allergy to one or more components. - In case of persistent constipation, consult a doctor to rule out other pathologies. - The microenema is for single use only; it should not be reused.
