PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Hansaplast Second Skin Protection XL are advanced hydrocolloid dressings that promote faster healing using a unique healing capsule technology. The dressing creates an optimal moist environment for healing. It offers extra strong hold for at least 72 hours, ensuring uninterrupted wound healing. Ideal for larger wounds in hard to cover areas such as knees, elbows or hands. The dressing is 100% waterproof yet breathable, allowing activities such as swimming or showering without worrying about the dressing coming off, even in contact with water. The pack contains 3 pieces of 70mm x 60mm XL hydrocolloid dressings.
PRODUCT COMPOSITION
The dressings are composed of a waterproof and breathable polyurethane top layer and a hydrocolloid matrix that forms a gel in contact with wound exudate, creating a moist environment that promotes healing.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. Clean the wound and dry the surrounding skin. 2. Remove the backing paper from the dressing without touching the adhesive side. 3. Apply the dressing to the wound, making sure the edges stick well to the skin. 4. Leave the dressing in place until it begins to peel off on its own. 5. To remove, gently stretch the dressing parallel to the skin.
WARNINGS
- See a doctor if the wound is deep, bleeds heavily or shows signs of infection such as redness, swelling or warmth. - Do not use the dressing if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. - Keep the product out of reach of children. - Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light.
