PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
DAOhead is a special medical food that addresses the deficiency of DAO, a crucial enzyme in the breakdown of histamine present in foods. Reduced DAO activity can lead to a build-up of histamine, triggering symptoms such as migraines, headaches and other neurological disorders. Each DAOhead capsule contains the highly active enzyme diamine oxidase, supplemented with vitamins B6, B9, B12 and caffeine, which act as adjuvants in the management of these symptoms.
PRODUCT COMPOSITION
- Diamine Oxidase Enzyme (DAO): Facilitates the degradation of dietary histamine.
- Vitamins B6, B9 and B12: They contribute to the normal metabolism of homocysteine and the proper functioning of the nervous system.
- Caffeine: Acts as an adjuvant, enhancing the effectiveness of the product.
- Excipients: Microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose, potato starch, medium chain triglycerides, among others.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
- Take one capsule with a little water, approximately 20 minutes before each main meal (three times a day).
- If you have difficulty swallowing the capsule whole, you may open it and take the tablets inside separately, making sure not to chew or break them.
- The inclusion of caffeine and B vitamins is optional; if you prefer, you may remove the corresponding tablets before ingestion.
WARNINGS
- Use under medical supervision, especially in cases of pre-existing medical conditions or if you are taking other medications.
- Not intended to be used as a sole power source.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light.
- Alcohol consumption and certain medications can inhibit the activity of the DAO enzyme.
Bulking agents: microcrystalline cellulose and hydroxypropyl cellulose; anhydrous caffeine; potato starch; coating agents: ethylcellulose and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; pork kidney protein extract with 7% diamine oxidase (DAO); stabilizers: magnesium salts of fatty acids and sodium alginate; medium chain triglycerides; pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6); rice starch; colorant: beet red; stabilizer: oleic acid; folic acid (vitamin B9); humectant: glycerin; stabilizer: stearic acid; colorant: riboflavin; maltodextrin; stabilizer: trisodium citrate; cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12); acidifier: citric acid; vegetable capsule: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.
